Combos
Create a combo of menu items sold together, with sizes and groups of choices, then price it and put it live.
A is a set of items sold together, such as a burger, fries and a drink.
Create a combo
Start
Open Menu Manager > Combos and click Add New.
Combo information
Enter the Combo Name and Description, and upload an image (.png, .jpg or .jpeg). The description and image are needed before the combo can go live.
Sizes and groups
- Choose one or more Size options, for example Regular and Large. Use Create new size if you need a new one.
- For each size, add one or more groups, for example Main, Side and Drink. Use Create new group for a new one.
- In each group, add the menu items and their quantities with + Add New.
Serving and cost
Enter the Serving. ChefAdmin shows the average ingredient cost. Click Continue to save.
Price it and put it live
Combos appear on Menu Items under their own category. Set the selling price and activate them exactly like a dish. See Pricing and profitability and Put a dish live.
Edit or delete
On Combos, use Edit or Delete on the row. An active combo cannot be edited or deleted: set it to Non-active on Menu Items first.
