What the Free, Pro and Kitchen plans include, how the limits work and how to upgrade.

How the free limit works
- The free plan covers your first 10 recipes, once. count, and so do imported recipes.
- When you import more than 10, the first 10 land and the rest wait until you upgrade. Re-import after upgrading and the rest come in; recipes you already have are skipped.
- You can fully finish those 10 recipes on the free plan, including allergens, nutrition and methods.
- AI help is limited to 15 uses a calendar month. When it runs out you can still add and edit recipes by hand.
When you reach a limit, ChefAdmin tells you: "You've built your free recipes. Upgrade to keep building unlimited."
Promote needs Kitchen
Pro gives you an unlimited recipe workshop. Putting recipes into a live kitchen, where they are costed, priced, ordered for and sold, is the Kitchen plan. If you try to without it, ChefAdmin opens the Kitchen upgrade.
How to upgrade
- Desktop: click the upgrade card at the foot of the sidebar, or go to the plans page from any upgrade message. Pay by card through Stripe.
- Phone: the app tells you when you reach a limit. Plans are managed from a web browser, so sign in on the desktop to upgrade.
Cancelling Pro before deleting your account
If you pay for Pro, cancel it from the web app before you delete your account in the chef app.
All prices are in US dollars and billed monthly.
