What ChefAdmin is
How the ChefAdmin platform fits together, from the chef app to Engineering and the Kitchen plan, and which part you need.
ChefAdmin replaces the costing spreadsheet, the recipe folder and the order book with one system. It starts with your recipes and grows into running the whole kitchen.
The three parts
Capture recipes in the chef app
On your phone, say a recipe out loud, snap a photo of a dish or a handwritten card, type it in, or import a whole recipe sheet. ChefAdmin turns it into a recipe card with ingredients, a method, allergens and nutrition. The chef app is the platform's front door for chefs. See Chef app.
Clean them up in Engineering
is where recipes get finished properly: each ingredient is linked to a real item in your inventory (), are linked up, and the recipe is approved. Every ChefAdmin login has Engineering, on the phone and on the desktop. See Engineering.
Run the kitchen on the Kitchen plan
When a recipe is ready, you it into your live system. From there you set a selling price, see what each dish costs you, order from suppliers, receive deliveries, count stock and read the reports. This is the plan. See Menu Manager and Inventory Manager.
Which part do I need?
| You are... | Start with | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| A chef who wants your recipes in one place | Your first recipe | Free, then Pro if you build more than 10 |
| A chef in a company that uses ChefAdmin | Your first recipe, then Ready for approval | Your company's plan |
| An owner or manager running a kitchen | Set up your kitchen | Kitchen |
Where to sign in
- Phone: the ChefAdmin app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Desktop: kms.chefadmin.com in any modern browser.
One account works on both. A recipe you capture on your phone is waiting for you in Engineering on the desktop.
Your recipes stay yours
Anything you capture lands in your first. Nobody else can see it, not even the account owner, until you choose to send it to a company brand.
