Delete a recipe

When a menu item or sub recipe can be deleted, and what to do when ChefAdmin refuses.

Choose Delete on the recipe's row in Recipe Manager and confirm.

Deleting cannot be undone

A deleted recipe is removed for good. If you might want it again, set it to Non-active in Menu Manager instead.

When ChefAdmin will not delete

Message	What to do
This Recipe is part of active menu…	Set the dish to Non-active in Menu Manager first.
…already being used in a Production…	Remove it from that production plan first.
This Sub Recipe is already being used in a Recipe: [name]…	Remove it from that recipe's ingredients first.

A sub recipe cannot be deleted while any recipe, other sub recipe or production plan uses it.
